Tailored to you

Pet care experience

Sadly I am unable to have my own pets at this time, so I really value opportunities to look after pets for family, friends, colleagues and neighbours. I currently work as a cat sitter and I also have around 2 years experience caring for animals in a professional capacity as I used to do shadow work in my local vets. I grew up with all kinds of pets in the house, in particular collies who we trained and exercised ourselves. I regularly take care of my parents dog who is an adopted collie with behavioural issues - I am very familiar with the kinds of challenges that can come with adopted or untrained pets. I am endlessly fond of cats and dogs, quirks included! I pride my service on communication, so if you choose me as your sitter I will make sure my services meet both you and your pets needs. I am also happy to provide complimentary extra services such as watering plants, picking up mail etc. I would also love to send updates, including photos and videos, should you want this. Please don’t hesitate message me with any questions!

Sian was great! She helped us out when we were in a last minute bind and spent the day hanging with our dog Blue. She sent us regular updates and was super flexible.

Sian was amazing! She offered to meet up before the booking to discuss everything which was so reassuring. She sent us pictures and videos and gave us an update everyday. She even did overtime most days. We cannot thank Sian enough for watching our fur babies while we were away and we will definitely be rebooking her next time we go away on holiday.

Sian was honestly amazing, she did a free meet and greet which I thought was fab as a lot of other cat sitters on rover were trying to get me to pay before even meeting them or meeting my cats, one of my cats are very shy and doesn’t like other people however she warmed right up to Sian which I’m super surprised by, honestly great overall experience and made my holiday stress free, I have now just booked her again for a another trip I have in 2 weeks. She also updated me with loads of pics and vids and also noticed she stayed longer than expected some days which was lovely.

Safety, trust & environment

I live on a ground floor flat with direct access to a secure garden. There are a couple of other (well behaved) dogs in the building who I am familiar with from dog sitting for my neighbours. I also live in a quiet area with plenty of walking routes at my doorstep. My flat is secured by multiple internal doors and locks, and my windows are secured by safety latches. There are no other animals at my home. There is a kitchen/living space, a large hall and very large bedroom, all with lots of floor space.

A typical day

I live close to Queen’s Park where there is lots of space to let dogs run around, sniff and meet other dogs if they like. I am experienced with lots of breeds, including collies, so I understand that some dogs need more exercise than others. I like to take dogs on walks around my local area so they can sniff around and get their bearings. I also love to play games with them like fetch or tug a war, or treat-motivated training & tricks.
