Pet care experience
Hello there! I'd like to start by saying I love dogs more than many people. That being said, I have previous vet tech experience at a small animal hospital in Cedar Park. I also groomed for and owned a mobile business in Austin, Tx for 7 years (for an additional fee I can give your pet a bath and/or haircut on my visit). I currently foster military working dogs for Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio and these dogs are unlike any other (which is why I don't petsit in my home) I have also trained countless dogs over my lifetime and can lend some tips if you are having any troubles. If you want peace of mind, then pick Shyra! My dogs can be really timid and skiddish around strangers, but when Shyra came in to our home they went right to her. She has been so helpful with behavioral questions that we've had and has helped our little fur family come together. Whether it's for a walk, or long-term sitting, she's your girl!
I swear Shyra is an animal whisper!! She is so amazing with my cats and dogs! She was even brave enough to give my 15lb cat a flea bath once! All my animals absolutely love her and couldn't ask for someone better to watch over my babies! Thank you again Shyra!
Testimonial from Matt, an abandoned Australian Shepherd Three summers ago someone abandoned me on Jay and Linda's road. I was disoriented and matted so bad Jay and Linda could not tell if I was a male or female. Shyra sat with me on the ground for the better part of an hour calming me down and gaining my trust before she began shearing my matted coat off and bathing me. I know that Shyra loves dogs!
