I enjoy animals of many kinds and have been picking up the odd pet sitting job since I was in elementary school. I helped take care of the family dogs that we had during that time and later while I was middle and high school and I have helped take care of my family's cat since we got her two and a half years ago. I am a laid-back person who is comfortable both leaving pets to their own devices and engaging with them. I often form an emotional connection with the pets I care for and truly enjoy being in their company. I balance caring for animals with working at the Mill Creek Fred Meyer some evenings as well as being a full time student at UW, but I never let whatever else I am doing distract me from properly caring for the animal that I am responsible for watching. Cats are my favorite type of animal to watch but I am willing to care for dogs as well.
