Pet care experience
I have been around and cared for animals for most of my life! Ranging from mostly cats of all ages to older dogs. Previously I’ve done home visits for check-ins and walks, to house-sitting for those on vacation.

THANK YOU SHYKALA. My cat has been experiencing some health issues and Shykala was so sensitive to my pets needs and made sure she was happy and comfortable and gave me great updates. She went above and beyond and even took the time to clean after my cat (she wasn’t asked to do that but it’s super appreciated). This isn’t the first time I have booked Shykala and it won’t be the last.
Shykala watched my cat and she took so much thought in her care. She took the time to spend time with my cat so that she wasn’t bored while I was away. She sent a bunch of photos so I knew my pet was well taken care of. I will definitely be booking her again to watch my pet

Within your home, I would be more than happy to perform whatever duties are needed to keep your animals safe and happy. From kettling them if needed, to leashed walks. Just let me know what works best for you. I’m used to watching large dogs in un-fenced yards and having to crate one of them when I leave. Also used to either just take them out to go or take them on long 20-30 minute walks so they could get their exercise.

A typical day
I have no problem taking your dog on long walks so that they are getting their full exercise! This is my final year of school, so I am looking at ways to explore the city, and walking your dog will be a perfect way to do so. Also, I love to play fetch, tug of war, and other games with your pet. Typically with the animals I watch, I would drop in and perform whatever Initial duties are needed. Then we typically go for a walk or I provide them with company and enrichment.

I am currently a full-time student, so I have a flexible schedule in between classes during the day and after 5 p.m. I can accommodate overnight care and I am available on the weekends! I am a full-time student, so during the week, I am unavailable... Mon. - 12 pm - 4 pm Tues. & Thurs. - 6 am - 6 pm Wed. & Fri.- 6 am - 11 am, 2 pm - 4 pm On weekends I am majorly available!
