Pet care experience
I have experience fostering and socializing cats over the past 4 years while in college, and since graduating, I have been doing occasional drop-in visits for my friends' dogs and cats while they are away. During the pandemic, my family and I fostered multiple puppies ranging from ages 3-6 months. I also currently have 2 German Shepherds at home - one 5 year old and one 2 year old foster fail! - so I have ample experience walking, training, and caring for even the most active of dogs! I love dogs & cats no matter their age or size, and I'm excited to provide your baby the love and company they deserve :)

Shreya's fantastic with animals, both dogs and cats! Super patient, kind, and caring. She has taken care of our kitties when we're out of town and is our go to sitter. She followed our lengthy instructions to the T and messaged us with any questions she had. We know our kitties are in good hands with her!
Shreya is someone you can rely on when it comes to taking care of your pets when you are away. What’s even better for us is that it seems that our 2 cats have taken a liking to her. I trust her to take care of our babies Poppy and Sesame. It doesn’t hurt that she’s also a dog lover so she is versatile when it comes to animals. I highly recommend going with her if you are choosing a Rover!

I like to develop trust with your pet and don't like to force them to do more than they want. I understand all animals have differing personalities and comfort levels with new people. I'd like for them to be familiar and comfortable with me, especially when you are not around, so I am more than happy to do multiple meet and greets until your pet is happy. I'll give them lots of time to smell nature and different things on walks; it should be a positive experience!! If I care for your pet in your home, I will cater to you and your pet needs only. I understand being away from your pet can be a nerve-wracking experience and I want to make it as easy as possible for you. I will talk with you about your pet's routine, medications, temperament, safety, and comfort. I will follow any and all rules you give me; it is your space and I want to treat it with respect. This can include making sure your pet doesn't have access to certain areas, handling them in a certain way, standing with them while they do their business, feeding them certain things, etc. I do not go into areas I'm not permitted and I do not mind security or nanny cams. I'm also more than happy to provide updates and pictures at the frequency you desire. Regarding medications: I am comfortable administering pills/tablets, oral liquids, topicals, and ear/eye drops. I am NOT comfortable administering injections.

I'd love to know their temperament, what activities they enjoy, and what care they need — what toys are their favorite, should they be kept in from the heat, etc. Also, any info about general "things to look out for while sitting" is appreciated. For walks, I request you let me know of a route your dog is familiar with or likes to go on, as well as their general behavior on walks or while on leash.
A typical day
We will do whatever your pet loves to do - fetch, tug of war, ribbon toys, just chilling, etc. For walks, I'd prefer to go on routes that your dog is familiar with and/or likes to go on.
