Pet care experience
I grew up a caring animal lover. We had a kennel and raised AKC German Shepherds. At a young age, my parents gave us training and responsibilities in caring for them, including assisting with meds. Later we adopted a Pomeranian for indoors, (along with a life long list of rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, and aquarium fish)❤️. I’ve been personally ’petless’ since 2017. I had 3cats over 18yrs, until they all passed away😿. I bathed, groomed, and nail clipped all 3cats their whole life😇. One of my cats had diabetes and I had to give injections twice a day. I have also helped train family and friends with getting their cats AND dogs to take meds💊 and 💉, and have also been a cat AND dog ‘whisperer’🤫 to clip their toenails🐱🐶. My heart feels full enjoying loving on other people’s pets🥰. I have YET to meet a pet that did not come to love me and trust me enough to receive my love and peace for them❤️ I hope to be your valued and trustworthy choice with your precious pets🥰 Ps: I am very adaptable, if I do overnight stays, I bring my own food, and sleep on the couch with my own bedding, compliments of being a U.S. Army Vetran☺️

Shonda was amazing!! She was very polite and professional! We had her stay over night with our dogs for one night. She sent a bunch of pictures and videos to me while I was away which I loved! She played with them and took them on walks. So thankful I found Shonda on here! Will rebook one the future.
My first thought when that long awaited, much needed out-of-the-country vacation trip finally came was "what do I do about Lady". My 150 pound 8 year old Great Dane is VERY attached to me and becomes anxious with changes in her normal routine. Boarding her in a kennel was NOT an option! My first phone was to Shonda. She was referred to me by a long time trusted friend. Shonda's relationship with Lady began with several trips to our home prior to departure date. I witnessed the immediate love and affection between them, most importantly, the peace in Lady and confidence in Shonda. She has a bold gentleness about her. Shonda stayed at our home, both days and nights to care for Lady, overseeing the house, pool and gardens. She kept Lady on her regular routine as much as possible in her own surroundings with daily walks and outside playtime. Inside, Shonda chose to sit on the floor next to Lady's bed for added affection. Shonda is a meticulous, organized, detailed woman with a heart to please and serve others. Lady had a great vacation with Shonda! Mine turned out pretty good too.
Shonda is the perfect dog sitter! I trust her with my fur baby and she is my go to person for when I go out of town. She keeps him active, makes sure he gets play time in, and a nice walk, as long as the weathers right. My most favorite thing is she doesn’t mind the cuddles if she is staying and he curls up in bed with her. Shonda is the best fit, always!
