Hi, My name is Shivani and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at UIC. I am fully vaccinated and can accommodate with masks on if you prefer. I am a busy person but always looking for some extra side money to help fund grad school. I love dogs and cats! I used to have a dog for 10 years until she passed so I know the whole ordeal with pets :) I am able to give baths and provide small details for your pet. After all, our pets are a part of our families so I know how important it is to get all the small details. I will also guarantee lots of pictures of everything while you away and will also provide updates on how they are doing so you feel safe and comforted :)

Shivani is fantastic! My dog, Penny, boarded with her and had a great time. Shivani kept in touch with us throughout our trip out of town and sent lots of pictures- my pup looked happy and relaxed in all of the pics. I knew she was in good hands. I would absolutely book Shivani again and recommend her to anyone that needs dog boarding.
Shivani hosted Holly overnight on short notice, and the experience was great. Shivani was at all times tuned in to Holly's behavior and mood, and provided plenty of updates and photos througout the stay. Would recommend without hesitation!
Caesar had the best possible care I could ask for. I have never left him alone for more than a week and fully trusted he was in great hands. I got so many updates of a very happy pup either taking walks or snuggling on the couch. Only concern I had was that he didn’t seem to want to leave her place when I got back! I could not recommend this sitter any higher and would definitely book with her again!!

I respect the space at the client's home and provide any cleaning accommodations you need. I can also bring in the mail If you need that and help with any other tasks while you’re away. If your pet is spending the night with me, I am absolutely able to accommodate! My boyfriend and I live in a one-bedroom 750-square-foot apartment with an open layout. There’s plenty of space for your animal to roam free throughout the day. He LOVES all animals, and always has a special connection with pets :) While we don’t have a yard, we do live in an apartment structure with a 2 block-gated grassy pathway. Your pet will be safe no matter what the time of day is! Please let me know if you would like any pictures or videos! In addition, I am happy to provide a bathing and teeth brushing service for your dog for free! This depends on the size of your dog, but please let me know if you are interested! I use a safe and gentle oatmeal shampoo and beef-flavored toothpaste.

I will consider everything and do my very best to keep your pet on track :) Feel free to leave the dog bowls and poop bags at home! I am happy to supply both for your pet :) If your pet would prefer their own, please bring it! We prefer dogs that are not too vocal, as our apartment is not friendly about that! Thank you in advance!
A typical day
I love playing fetch with superactive dogs or taking them on a long walk! I typically reach 2-2.5 miles in an hour if your dog is active. If not, no worries; I can give lots of cuddles and mellow time :)

I am a full-time graduate student, but I have a lot of flexibility within my current schedule. I can accommodate most requests with a +- 2-hour adjustment. The times vary, but I can make it work if you’re flexible with timing!
