I have cared for dogs as DogNanny for 19 years as well as done socialization training & some grooming. I have cared for dogs of all ages & sizes from Chihuahuas to Great Pyrenese & everything in between. I love animals & want always what is best for them. I had my own small business for 19years in Austin, TX carong for dogs & cats. I would dogs out on trails or swimming or into retail stores depending on the weather. Every week I would trim the dogs nails to keep them from getting too long. Each dog would get a good massage in evenings after thier adventurous outtings. The age & physical abilities of each dog was always carefully considered when considering what we would do each day as well. I do whatever it takes to keep ones dogs content, safe & enjoying themselves. I am Canine CPR certified & have given shots for diabetic pets or other issues too.

Shiu Mei is by far the best dog sitter that I've found on this app. She took my puppy, Danton, on a new adventure every single day, she reinforced some of the training I've been doing with him, she sent regular updates, and she treated my house with the greatest respect. I've had Danton for a year and had to travel a bit in the last few months, and this is the first time that I can leave without being worried that my puppy will run away or that I left him in bad hands. I cannot recommend Shiu Mei highly enough, and I am looking forward to working with her again in the future.
Wow. What can we not say. Shiu was amazing! Sooo many videos and they got so much attention! She kept us updated on their activities and even gave them nail trimmings! She went above and beyond and even gave lots of love to the kitties! House was clean upon arriving home and watered our plants! I’m not sure our kids missed us! Lol jk. But they def had lots and lots of fun. We will def be using Shiu in the future. Thanks so much for giving our kids the love that we give them! We highly recommend!!
She was so good with my 2 bulldogs. She gave them so much time and attention. They took to her so quickly. The videos helped us to know our boys was well taken cared of and gave us peace of mind. I never get to go on any vacation. I found a way to get away from work. It was so last minute but she still was able to accurate us to the fullest. So fortunate for that. The dogs got to stay in the comfort of their own home which they are used to and being taken cared of all at the same time. The boys are years apart but sitter knew exactly what was needed for both. I know now that I have someone to trust with the boys and can plan for my next venture knowing that the boys will be in good hands.
Shiu Mei has been helping our family with our dogs since 2007 and has been an integral part of the love care and training of them. From walks to daycare to overnight stays, Shiu Mei has been like a third parent to the dogs and we couldn’t trust anyone more with their care. One of our dogs is a rescue and has a lot of difficult personality traits but Shiu Mei was able to easily navigate them and help our girl get comfortable in so many new situations. One of our favorite parts of having Shiu Mei take care of our pets are all of the great photos and videos we get of them during their day. If you are looking for someone with TONS of experience, extremely reliable, loved by all dogs and a true wealth of knowledge on all things “pup” Shiu Mei is will be a great fit for you.

Your dog(s) will be my priority & will get all of my attention. I would walk your dog on-leash only in spaces that are dog friendly. I would ensure they have opportunity to potty at least every 4hours. I would not walk them on hot asphault or the like. I would take them for hikes/trails. I would keep them safe & under my observation to ensure thier safety. I will give them lots of cuddles, pets, snuggles & massage all olong the way.

A typical day
Everyday will start with a trip out to potty, then to eat thier morning meal. After which we will have snuggle &/or play &/or training time. Depending on thier abilities the rest of the day could be spent out om hike or on a beach or walking. Dinner will be given in the early evening & then snuggles &/or brushing will take place. We will go for another potty walk or two before bed. I will walk your dog on leash. We will run, play, frolick & they will get lots of affection as well as maintain good training.ehabits. Availability
I am working part time, so have flexibility on hours when I can care for your pet. I believe dogs should not go more than 4 hours without the opportunity to go potty unless sleeping thru the night, although puppies may need to go out more often.
