Pet care experience
I've grown up with many different animals including dogs and my very own one and only beloved soulmate dog I had for 18 years. She went everywhere with me! I've worked alongside dogs and have taken care of my bosses, family and friends beloved dogs whilst they are away on holiday or just out for the day. A dog is an animal and I am passionate about animals! I'm very used to having dogs of any size and age around me, all with different attitudes, abilities, characters and personalities. I love being with dogs and I love dog walking, I'm a hiker so I love the exercise and nature. I walk for the dog too, it's the dogs time not the walkers! It's allowed to sniff and will not be pulled on! Dogs bring me great happiness.

Shirley is the most wonderful dog/ house sitter, the boys love her, she is very good with all their spoilt behaviour , and little ways, she listens to all instructions and keeps us informed all the time on how they are getting on .. she is sensible, energetic, caring And capable.. our house was spotless when we arrived home, couldn’t ask for a better sitter.. she is worth her weight in gold to us, trouble is she is now in demand!! lol. I have had Shirley house and dog sit many times now, and I absolutely love her, our boys love her too, she is reliable , honest, energetic and very friendly, she listens to what we would like for our boys and takes on board our instructions, our boys are reactive and anxious, she understands them so well. It's important to know what the dogs likes are but also the dogs dislikes and if it has fears or allergies of some sort! Food allergies or environmental allergies. Can it be let off the lead. Does it have health issues or a disability. Does it tire easily. Does it scare when hearing loud noises or bangs. Is it good with other dogs and other people including people it knows! Your veterinarians details are also most important to know.
A typical day
We will play whatever is the dogs favourite games inside the house or outside. We will walk to it's favourite places going to parks, woods or trails or wherever it wants. Of course if your dog prefers a more laid-back quiet life I too will be that, letting it know it's not alone continuing to give it love and warmth in a more relaxed way. Your dog will have very happy times feeling loved, content, stable and secure.
