Pet care experience
I have been taking care of people's pets since I was in high school and I used to volunteer regularly at a dog shelter in college. I've watched dogs of all sizes, from a Yorkie-Pom to a Ber-Newfie! I am a very responsible graduate student at the University of Miami with a pretty flexible schedule. I'm available for overnight stays, daily check-ins, and anything else you may need me to do! I lead a relatively active lifestyle and I'd love to take your dog on some adventures through the neighborhoods and dog parks of Miami. Alternatively, if your pup would prefer snuggles on the couch, I'm obviously okay with that as well. I will love your fur baby as if they were my very own.

Shirley was great with my 3 senior dogs. She kept us updated and was very accommodating to their specific routine. 2 of them had smaller medical concerns because of a fall a few days before but Shirley absorbed all of the directions about pills and bandaging and kept them safe and happy during her stay at our place.
Shirley was AWESOME!! This was my first time using Rover and what a pleasant experience. Shirley’s calmness and pleasant demeanor assured me that my “girls” were in great hands. She gave excellent feedback about them when we returned. She was very patient and caring with my very shy Rosie. She’s an excellent communicator and was prompt in arriving. You can’t go wrong booking her to take care of your fur babies.
Shirley was an absolutely amazing companion to my dog over the past weekend. Despite my last minute request and slightly unusual set of circumstances, Shirley accommodated me every step of the way and made things so incredibly easy for me. She bonded instantly with my dog and even sent photos of what a great time they were having together. This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn't be happier with how smoothly it worked out. Thank you Shirley for setting me totally at ease and taking such good care of my dog.
I have known Shirley for over a decade. She is responsible, caring, hardworking and loves dogs. She has taken great care of my dogs (and my home) over the years. My current dog, Shorty, still goes crazy with joy when she’s in town for a visit. I highly recommend Shirley as a dog-walker, dog-sitter and dog-caregiver.
