Dog sitter for weekend getaways
Pet care experience
I am a longtime animal lover available to animal and house sit on weekends. Openly available Fri-Sun and Holiday Monday's. Experience with many breeds, able to administer oral medication, love long walks and I can throw a mean frisbee! I regularly sit a set of Portuguese Water Dogs, and provide drop in service for some neighbors. I currently have an Australian Shepard furry child- he is a high energy dog that has required lots of activity. My dog also has severe anxiety so I have extensive experience calming anxious dogs and administering oral medication. I will consider longer assignments on a case by case basis. Would like to know of any issues of aggression- while it is not a deal breaker I would like to know if the dog has been aggressive at all in the past. I also would like advance notice if your dog is an escape artist- this will allow me to be prepared and take extra precautions to ensure your dogs safety.
A typical day
We can work on training of simple commands and help with reinforcement if your dog is just learning some new commands. We can take local neighborhood walks, visit dog parks (if allowed by owner), frisbee and catch
