Pet care experience
Here for all the puppy and kitty snuggles and playtime. I grew up caring for two lab mix dogs. When I moved out on my own in 2008 I started caring for my own first fur child, a sweet mini doxie who was 2yrs old at the time. I was his human for the next 14 years until April 2022 when he passed from old age and various chronic diseases. I now share my love with dogs and cats owned by friends and family. Especially my sister's two dogs...a senior beagle and a hyper 2 year old pitbull. I believe in walks, frequent human interaction, and valuable playtime with dogs. I've animal sat for my sister and friends multiple times. Since 2019 I've been the sole trusted dog sitter for a former coworker's small dogs of various breeds in their home. I typically dog sit for 3-10 days at a time.

I currently rent an apartment, so I'm unable to care for pets in my home. I would have to come to the client's home to care for their pets. My longest client has cameras inside their home, so they can see me interacting with their pets when I dog sit in their home. Both that client and my sister have shared access codes to their home for entry. I provide pictures and updates whenever requested while the clients/owners are away

My goal is to simply be another person that will maintain the same level of care and environment that your fur baby is accustomed to. So it helps to know favorite activities, little habits or traits that are unique to the pet. Knowing any favorite treats, toys, tricks are great. Any health conditions or medications given are of course important.
A typical day
Walks all around the neighborhood is typical. I enjoyed taking my own dog and my sister's dog to the dog park. My dog is not big on toys, but I have friends' dogs who do love toys. I willing play fetch or tug-of-war until the dog is tired. Cat toys are welcomed as well.

Availability
Since 2020 I've been working from home as a self-employed virtual executive assistant for various clients. I can work anywhere that has an internet connection. Thus allowing me the opportunity to dog sit for owners going out of town, or the flexibility to make a quick trip to take a dog out for a walk.
