Pet care experience
I’ve cared for pets since my first goldfish at age 8 years old. Growing up with pets like fish and cats allowed me to learn that caring for pets is more than just feeding them and playing with them. It’s providing a stress free and safe environment. I’ve professionally cared for animals since college and have cared for dogs, cats, snakes, and even chickens! I have a year old pitbull that I trained from 2 months old. She is the sweetest and most well behaved dog I know, something I pride myself with.
Reviews
Shiri was a wonderful house sitter who took loving care of our two large dogs, our home, and sent lots of photos of our fur babies. Would happily book with Shiri again!
Shiri was really lovely. Would highly recommend. She came right on time, took great care of our house, and our pup. She clearly has a way with dogs and our dog has been wondering where she went since she left. She also was very communicative and sent us lots of photos! We hope to use her again!
Shiri is on time and very sensible. She house sat for us and took care of our two dogs and three cats. Everyone and everything was fine when we got home. She sent pictures and asked good questions. Recommend her for sure
Shiri did a great job for an extended vacation time. It was a first for both my pups and me. I know they appreciated the walks!

I’m pretty thorough with any care instructions, including medical care. When house sitting, Zula will stay home with her other mother, my partner. I will adjust to your schedule and routines that you’ve put in place for your pet. If your pet stays in my home, they will have a blast with Zula zooming around our yard and playing with all of the toys. Zula is always down to share her space and loves meeting new friendly dogs. We have a fenced in double lot property so there’s plenty of space for zooms!
Information Shiri B. would like to know about your pet
Are there any traumas I need to be aware of? Also would help to know when you adopted the animal and a bit about their history before they joined your family. This way I have a full understanding of what their triggers might be. Also please share what tricks or commands they know, or any thing that you know they would enjoy or comfort them while you’re away.
A typical day
I love to find new places to explore in the neighborhood. Our walks will consist of many sniffs, and a game of fetch or tug if your dog is able to. I also try fun ways to enrich your animal by using sniff mats, puzzles, or lick mats. I would also love to continue any training you are working on. I might also teach them a new trick like roll over or crawl. I also like fun an enriching games with cats such as lick mats or playing chase. My favorite thing to do with active cats is to hide behind a corner with a stringed toy, wait for the cat to come to me then sprint to another corner for the cat to chase me. I am always keen to when cats want to play or just want to chill all day in the laundry hamper.

Currently I am in a self paced tech bootcamp so I have a lot of flexibility. I rely on a daily routine to care for Zula, my dog, and to complete my studies. I would incorporate your pet’s needs into my routine. Which means I honor your times needed for care. If you need you fur friend fed at 6am, they will be fed on the dot!
