If I were a pup, I'd be that energetic one you see at the shelter, eagerly jumping up and down as to say, Pick Me, Pick Me!!:-) I love petsitting, and I enjoy the chance to be in a new environment. I have a plethora of experiences housesitting and dogsitting for friends, family, then friends of friends, then complete strangers so I can provide plenty of references. Since I can't have my own dogs right now, dogsitting is the way I get my dog fix until I'm in a situation to have my own. Over the past 15+ years I've watched anywhere from 3 Yorkie puppies, to 100+lb Bernese Mountain Dog and Golden Retrievers at a time. I am very active, so your fur kids will never be stuck indoors (unless you prefer it that way) because I take the dogs out even if it's raining or snowing--I even have my own backseat pet cover for those messy occasions, along with dog treats in my trunk and an extra leash in my car door just in case. My shear love of dogs solidified when I bought my mom a rescue dog to replace me when I moved out of state and the impact it has had on her moves me beyond words. Ever since, her life has never been the same. Believe me, I understand how important your fur kids are and I will be sure to take care of them as if they were my own. Additionally, nearly all of my roommates have had dogs and walking them became routine for me, by choice of course. Finally, I always leave a place in better condition than when I found it so you can feel relieved that your house and pup(s) are in good hands.
