Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Shia and I’ve been an animal lover since I’ve come into this world. I’m patient and fun with all pets and appreciate every pets’ quirks. Whether it’s a walk, a run or a simple fetching play, I’d be up for it! If it's your first time on rover, use the code SHIAM15980 to book me for $20 off and a treat for your pup! My background in per sitting is extensive as I was always the go-to sitter in the family and group of friends, this ranged from dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, ferrets, and reptiles. I am trained to administer medication (injections and oral) and pet CPR for dogs and cats. I've volunteered at PAWS (Philippine Animal Welfare Society) for over 6 years before moving to Utah where I gave obedience classes, leash trained dogs, and participated in outreach programs. So many animals in the world deserve all the love! For sitting, we have a fenced yard that’s quite spacious. We got extra doggy and kitty beds for our furry guests, with treats and toys for that extra fun! I stay at home so I can keep a close eye at your pawrfect companions and make sure they get all the food, water, play and potty breaks they need according to their tamperment and breed. Feel free to give me a call or text if you want to meet up! During the stay/sitting/walk expect lots of pictures and videos to keep you posted. I work from home with a very flexible schedule and can cater to dogs with different needs and routines. I also go on walks twice a day, once in the early morning and late at night so the road is safe for those delicate paws. But on better weather days, I'm down to exercise those pups anytime! We have a fenced yard and a splash pad for doggies that like cooling off while playing. We also don't give leftovers or human food to our pup so, rest assured, their diet will be strictly followed and respected. Additionally, I try to learn as much as I can about your pet and build a relationship with them during their stay.
Reviews
Shia was absolutely amazing with our dog! She is so nice and welcoming, showed us her space and has everything you could need for dogs! She updated us with pictures during our pups stay to reassure us! We would absolutely recommend her to anyone and we will be booking with her for next time! She is such a kind genuine caring person, and thank you so much again Shia!!
Only sitter/boarding place my dod did not want to leave when I picked her up.
Shia watched my dog for 6 days and she did a phenomenal job! She sends updates and pictures every day and you can tell she really cares for each pet she watches. She makes sure that she caters to your pets needs, and I will certainly be using her again in the future! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have their dog boarded and appreciate how great of a job she did!
Kai loves going there and always has a great time. She is someone I can trust to take care of my dog

Information Shia M. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences as every dog is special but I do encourage that the dogs are vaccinated for rabies and are tick/flea-free. I would also like to know if your dog is potty trained or teething (getting into furniture, shoes, etc) so I can create a safer space for them when they're indoors and outdoors.
A typical day
We live in a quiet neighborhood which I think is great for pets. Streets are safe and we have a park 3 minutes away for their daily dose of exercise, I would walk them at least twice a day (weather permitting). Apart from that, we have a spacious fenced backyard that they can run around in and sunbathe on whilst we play fetch and get all the belly rubs.
