Pet care experience
Licensed with West Northamptonshire Council. I’ve owned and loved dogs my whole life. We have a secure garden of over one acre and, in addition, our own private paddock for our dog guests to enjoy without leaving our home. We live in a beautiful village with direct access to the countryside for long walks in the field and by the river. Our resident dogs, Florrie and Poppy love to make new friends and we have 3 teenage children who are all always available for playing with and entertaining our doggie guests. I hold a certificate for animal first aid and I am insured with Cliverton.

My two fur babies Thalia and Gigi were booked iwith Sheryl last weekend and they had a wonderful time. Sheryl and her family kept me up to date with messsges and photos. The outside space that Sheryl has for the dogs is wonderful. Her love of animals is obvious and I would be more than happy to book my fur babies in with Sheryl again in the future. Thank you Sheryl x
I couldn’t recommend Sheryl more. She and her family looked after our Jackie as if he were one of the pack! He absolutely loved it there - we received daily updates with pictures and videos every day to show just how much he was enjoying himself. Thank you so much for not only ‘dog sitting’ Jackson, but for making sure he was an honorary member of the family whilst we were away.
Fabulous setting and wonderful care for our boys. Really knowledgeable about the breed and considerate to our boys needs. Already recommended Sheryl to others as they had such an excellent and engaging time.
Sheryl and Chris were brilliant. Sheryl gave me an informative overview of what the dogs had done when we picked them up and a couple of texts during the day to confirm they were OK. We will definitely be booking again.

Our garden is securely fenced and behind locked gates. Our doggie guests have free access around the ground floor of our house. We have plenty of dog beds around and have crates available if needed (please let us know on booking). There are also sofas to snuggle on. Our back door is usually open to allow free access to the garden. We have fresh, clean water placed inside and outside in various locations. We will always feed dogs separately so they can relax while they enjoy their dinner.

Please let me me know your dogs usual routine, walk times, feed times etc. we have lots of dog beds and toys but if your dog prefers their own then please bring it with you. Please complete my information form that I will email to you in advance of your stay. I offer a meet and greet session in advance of a stay with us to ensure everyone is happy.
A typical day
My routine is adaptable to the needs of our doggie guests. I am more than happy to try and accommodate your dogs usual routine. If you have a nervous dog or you prefer your dog to not leave our home, we are lucky enough to have a large secure garden so outside time is available at anytime. We love to walk in the countryside and we have an abundance of beautiful walks within minutes of our home. I will send photo updates of dogs to owners during their stay with us.

This is my full time job, my time is dedicated to the animals in my care. We have lots of fun playing in our large garden, private paddock, walking, relaxing. I love long walks in the countryside and spend as much time outside as we can. During wet/inclement weather we have a ‘dry garden’ which has plenty of space for play without your dog coming home muddy! We have a hot wash for after muddy play sessions.
