I grew up on farm and have loved animals of all sorts. Now retired, I enjoy caring for family and friends' fur babies when they need someone they trust.

We are so incredibly thankful for Sheryl. She went above and beyond taking care of Lenny. Our family was nervous to leave him with someone we didn’t know but we couldn’t have been happier. She sent many updates including photos and videos. It made us feel at ease knowing he was in such good hands. He went on lots of walks, got lots of snuggles, and even went on an adventure in the car. We will definitely leave Lenny with her the next time we come to Ames.
Sheryl did great with our little guy! It sounds like they both had a lot of fun and we would definitely use her again.
Sheryl was just wonderful with our little Cavachon. She sent updates, pictures, and videos daily. Thatch, our dog, seemed so happy and well taken care of. We will definitely use Sheryl again to take care of him. So thankful for her and her caring nature.
Another wonderful stay with Sheryl! Ollie got loads of attention and the best possible care. Sheryl is a great communicator, both with photos and texts. She goes above and beyond to make sure Ollie is happy. I would highly recommend her!

We have no pets at this time. We have a yard but it is not fenced. However, I often walk my doggy guests 4 blocks away to my daughter's fenced yard for playtime. We treat pet guests as our own. They usually sleep beside our bed with their favorite blanket and toys.

I would like to meet you and your pet beforehand to get acquainted with his/her personality, quirks, diet, and your rules so that our time together will be fun and safe. If you have strict rules about something, I don’t want to lead fur baby astray!
A typical day
We live close to Daley Park and a lovely green belt walkway along a creek. We will go for walks and sniffs, and stop by our daughter's fenced backyard for zoomies, ball, and playing with our grandsons. In the house we will snuggle and play with toys.

I'm retired so I set my own schedule. I enjoy spending time with my doggy guests--playing, walking, cuddling. The farther ahead we schedule, the better, to make sure I will be available.
