Sheryl has been an animal LOVER since birth. Many friends had dogs she lovingly interacted with as an infant and toddler and we finally adopted AJ when she was 6. She was the family dog but Sheryl was the one who played, swam and took her for walks the most They slept in Sheryl's twin bed together - both heads on the pillow! We now have another rescue named Mia and it is a love fest when Sheryl gets home from college. They enjoy couch cuddling and long runs together. This past March - Sheryl had full responsibility for Mia's care while I was on vacation. Since legally allowed (14)- Sheryl has volunteered at Salem Animal Rescue and most recently Great Dog Animal Rescue with me.She deals very calmly and compassionately with all dogs in whatever state of mind they are in, Some of the rescues from the south come off the transport truck very scared, timid and Sheryl shows them love and gets there trust very quickly. Sheryl is trustworthy, reliable, punctual, resourceful,responsible and fun! She has has a job since 15 - tutoring grade schools kids at local after school program and summer overnight camp counselor. Sheryl's my daughter but also an amazing young women who will take wonderful care of your four legged family member!
