Pet care experience
My husband and I are working professionals with two dogs of our own, and who both have had a life-long love of dogs. We also have a toddler son who just loves his big brothers and all dogs in general! We take our pups out every single day (rain or shine!), whether to the dog park, on a hike, or to the beach, and would love to take yours along as well! We have a house with a spacious fenced yard, and plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and treats. Dogs in our care always have someone to look after them as I work from home during the week. On weekends, we are both home with the dogs all day. Depending on your preferences, we love to send pictures so you can see how much fun your pup is having while you are away! Also, although our dogs are big guys (about 60-80 pounds), they get along with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Some of their best friends include chihuahuas, terriers, pit bulls, and golden retrievers. Our dog might have actually had a better vacation than we did, seriously. I would recommend Sheryl to anyone who wants the best for their pup. Whether he was playing on the beach or curled up ready for bed, every day of our trip we received photo updates of our little guy having a blast. For others with smaller dogs looking for a sitter, ours is a little dachshund and he had no problem getting along with Sheryl's larger dogs, which were both very sweet. Will definitely be giving Sheryl a shout the next time we have to leave town.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience my dogs had with Sheryl! As a Rover sitter myself, I want my dogs to receive the same wonderful care I give to the dogs that stay with us, and she exceeded my expectations! She sent tons of pictures during the stay, which I loved! The dogs went to bot the dog park and Fort Ord daily for exercise, and got tons of snuggling in her bed at night--just like at home. She is so sweet, and was able to accommodate our last-minute earlier arrival. When we picked the dogs up (just before a 4 hours drive back to Sacramento) she had them completely exhausted and ready for the long ride home. They slept the entire way after their weekend of fun and play! I would recommend her to anyone!
Sheryl was amazing. She treated my shy dog as one of her own. scooby and bear were so good to her with all the playing they tuckered her out

Also, they will be able to freely roam the house, where they will have their choice of beds (both dog and human!) and doggy toys. We want to make sure your dog is as comfortable with us as he/she is in their own home.
