Pet care experience
Hello! I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 30 years. I have been doing in-home pet sitting off and on during this time. I know how stressful traveling can be on both the owners and their pets. I believe that any way we can reduce that stress, the better! I love interacting with animals in their own home, and giving them love and attention when their owners are unable, due to travel, illness or a disability. I have extensive experience caring for sick, disabled, shy or aggressive animals and am able to give medications responsibly. I have a calm and caring manner and love to play and have fun too! I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, Guinea pigs, goats, chickens, donkeys and horses in their own homes. I have also had dogs, cats, bearded dragons, fish, and a bird of my own throughout the years! Thank you for your consideration!

It was our first time using an in-home dog sitter and Sherry made the experience easy. She had helpful paperwork for new clients that made us confident she had the information she needed as we would be unreachable. She took photos and left daily notes for us to read which was a fun post vacation treat. We would recommend Sherry!
Sherry is the most pleasant, considerate and compassionate critter-sitter you could possibly have care for your fur-kids! Not is she incredibly knowledgeable about pets in general, she takes detailed notes for each pet during the time she cares for your animals, and assures that you are confident about the care being provided while you are away. We returned to a home cleaner than we when we left, comfortably happy critters, and continued communication to assure that we were satisfied with the care she provided. Sherry is consummately professional, and we highly recommend her for any pet care needs you might have--even goats!
To begin Sherry has be housesitting our residence and taking care of our cats for many years. Her stays at our residence have been as many as fourteen days and as few as seven. Many years equates to approximately fifteen years. We first used Sherry when our one cat required a medication every three days. All 15 years we have been away from our house we have used Sherry as our house and pet sitter. Her stays per year could be more than one per year With the aid of e-mails and text messages we are updated with information, pictures of the pets and any questions that Sherry may have. Upon our return to our residence the cats are looking great and the house is in the same order as when we left, maybe even better. The end
Sherry far exceeded any expectations I I had for a house sitter. The dogs and cat were well attended and they were all calm and relaxed when I arrived home. She followed my instructions well. My dogs are all on medications and I was comfortable leaving them with Sherry knowing she would take care of administering them properly. The house was in perfect order as well. I highly recommend Sherry and plan to use her again.
