Pet care experience
I have experience with all ages of dogs and cats. I have raised puppies and once rescued and cared for a kitten from two weeks old to two months (when he was adopted by a family member). I have cared for my dogs from puppyhood/young dog to old age, and I have lots of experience giving medications. I have a St Bernard/Pointer mix (Bamsey aka Boo Boo) who is 12 years old, adopted him when he was two; a mini poodle mix (KoKo Puff) who is 8 years old, adopted her when she was 10 months old; and adopted a senior Pug/Chihuahua mix (Forrest) in September 2022, he will be 15 in December 2023. I also have experience with tortoises, rabbits/bunnies, and guinea pigs.

My three dogs are friendly, not aggressive, and have never tried to bite another animal or person. They are mellow and accustomed to having doggy guests in our home. I will not take an aggressive pet--no lunging, jumping, snapping, or biting.

A typical day
I am happy to take your dog out for walks. My dogs and I have several routes through the neighborhood that we enjoy, and would love to share them with your dog. We can play your dog's favorite games or relax with tummy rubs.

Availability
I am available to care for your pet(s) in my home, or for drop-in visits to your home, every day. If your pet needs playtime or a walk I am happy to help! I work four ten-hour days, coming home every three to five hours to let dogs out for potty, playtime, and treats. One work day is work-from-home.
