I have owned cats all my life, taken care of them when they are sick, and have cat-sat for many friends and family over the years. I've also provided immediate food and shelter for lost cats around my old apartment. Once the owners were located, they were very thankful for the care their cat had received while lost. I take special pride in my current baby- a black domestic short-hair cat, as black cats are sadly still the least-chosen colour of cat. I also have had a python for 6 years, and love all snakes and reptiles! I am comfortable feeding and cleaning their terrariums. In addition, I have dog-sat for smaller dogs multiple times. I love all animals and believe they are worthy of love, dignity, and respect. I look forward to the chance to love and spend time with your pets, as I do my own! I am comfortable staying to spend quality time with your pets, as my schedule is very open and flexible. I have spent the last 10 years working with special needs children, at-risk children, and teaching preschool. As a result, I am happy to be a caregiver and have much experience doing so. Because of my previous employments working with vulnerable individuals, I have had to pass many police record checks and vulnerable sector searches. I believe my expertise in such areas will enhance my ability to care for your pets! My schedule is completely open and flexible, as my only other commitment is training (Olympic lifting, weightlifting, running). I would be available any time or day/night. I will be conscientious and diligent in following the owners' requests and pet schedules. I am punctual, reliable, and detail-focused. I will also pay special attention, as I'm pet-sitting in your home, to keeping things tidy and cleaning up. As a childcare worker, I spent many hours cleaning and sanitizing, and so I will be meticulous about making sure your home stays safe and tidy- not only for your pets, but for you, too!
