Loving dog owner
Pet care experience
My first dog was when I was eight years old. I had a poodle named funny face. As an adult I added a golden retriever to our family. We love our Scooby. A couple of years ago, my aunt had to find a home for her dog due to some challenges she was having so we took Bart in. He has become a part of our family. We love him very much. I am the primary caregiver in the home. I bathe them, trim them and take them for daily walks. They are well cared for, see the vet on a regular basis and stay current on vaccinations. I have a high school student son that loves dog and is very helpful in our guests. He helps with walks, playing ball with them and also is great at cuddling. Please note, if you are a returning customer and my calendar is reflecting unavailable, please reach out as I will do my best to accommodate.
Reviews
We had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Tampa, knowing that our two girls, Hazel and Marnie, were in good hands. We will definitely book Sherry for future trips!
We had a great experience with Sherry taking care of our three dogs! She consistently sent us updates, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that our dogs were well cared for. Highly recommend her services!
I love hearing how my dog Nixon does so well when he stays there, it gives me piece of mind! Thank you!
Sherry and her son took excellent care of my dog while I was away on vacation. They are loving, caring, and capable dog handlers. Sherry sent frequent pictures of Chloe throughout her day, and I appreciated seeing snapshots of my sweet girl and the excellent communication . I would not hesitate to board her with this loving family again.

My backyard gives enough space for fetch but is narrow. I have a screened in patio pool but it is fenced in. There’s plenty of room for them to go to the bathroom and I keep it picked up daily. My home is a positive environment and we take very good care of your family member. We ensure feedings are separated and the dogs interactions are safe. We give plenty of attention and love. We will also follow your instructions for your pet's care. I will not keep more than 3 dogs as I have 2 of my own giving me 5. There have been times I have kept 6 for a day or 2 and and that works with smaller dogs. I do limit the number as the care and safety of your family member is most important to me. I am able to separate dogs at times if they need a break from one another with 5 or less total.

Information Sherry C. would like to know about your pet
Please include their feeding schedule as well as what they like and do not like. How and where do they like to sleep? Do they have a bed? If so, feel free to bring it. Are they afraid of noises? If so, what do you do to calm them? Do they have any physical ailments I should be aware of that would help me better care for them? Do they have separation anxiety? If so, please let me know as this is very important to their well being. If they do have separation anxiety, and I need to leave my home for a couple of hours, I need to know how to handle that. What works and does not work for them? Is your family member crate trained? If so, do they need to be crated at night or when I leave the house? I have one large crate and a small one that is used by my little one. If you have a crate that is a better size for your pet, please feel free to bring. Does your family member have any allergies? What do I need to ensure they avoid? Is your family member on medication? If so, please provide dosage and times. Does your family member like walks? If you are not comfortable with me walking them I will not but we will go on daily walks for those that enjoy it. How often does your family member go potty? What is their schedule? I typically take them out every 2 hours. Should I expect them to go number 2 every day? Morning and night? The more I know, the more I can determine if they are having a challenge, which could be due to being in a new place. Any other information I need to know? What can my son and I do to help your family member feel at home while you are away? Please let me know as we will do our best to provide a comforting and safe environment for them.
A typical day
Days start before the sun comes up. The dogs are let outside first thing and shortly after will have a walk of 1/2 - 1 mile. They will also receive a walk in the evening. In the summer months, it can be too hot to walk long distances during the day. If they like to play fetch, your pet will be taken out during the day alone for play as there can be aggression between dogs when it comes to toys. :)

Availability
I work from home and I am able to take the dogs for a walk during the day. I let them out several times a day to go to the bathroom. I love on them often! If your pet is with me more than a week, I will take him/her to Shane's Dog Park in Oviedo with your approval only. I do my best to go at least once a week. There are times I go to the small dog park at Oviedo on the Park. Again, only with your approval.
