Experienced in caring for puppies, active breeds, special needs of a senior dog, and specialize in individual care. I grew up on a 250 acre ranch in Sonoma County and a lover of all animals - especially dogs! I know how important it is to leave your pup with a reliable and caring person in a safe home. And, I have you covered. My focus will be to provide individual care for your dog while you’re away and keep you updated along the way. Your furry family will become mine as they give us unconditional love every day. Thank you in advance for the opportunity to provide your daycare and overnight needs when you’re away.

Sherry is warm, friendly, responsive and professional and clearly loves dogs. She sends photo and text updates throughout the day and takes the dogs in her care on long walks and outings. Her pup, Deja, is a gentle, playful and welcoming sweetheart. Sherry has a cozy indoor space for dog naps, a nice backyard for playing and lives down the street from an awesome dog park in Santa Rosa. We will use her in the future!
Sherry is fantastic. She made my pup feel right at home and provided excellent care. She sent lots of pictures and videos, which we loved. She took walks and had dog park time. Also, Sherry's pup, Deja, is so easy going a loves having playmates. We can tell our pup had a good time and enjoyed her stay. We highly recommend Sherry.

I own my house, have a secure and private enclosed fenced with lots of shade, and located on a small court. Safety is always top priority. I limit the number of dogs to board so they get the best care and I can provide an individual experience. Every dog deserves to live their best life every day. I work from home for the State of California as an IT Project Manager so your dog will not be left alone and in the process of transitioning into full-time dog care. I’m very dependable, take pride in my responsibilities, and have flexibility in my schedule. DeJa and I live near downtown on the east side of Santa Rosa in a very safe/quiet court with an easy drop-off and pick-up location. Also, offer pick-up/drop-off services.

A typical day
Hiking, dog parks, and outdoor activities is our daily fun! Every dog’s needs are different and I like to follow their regular daily routine. We generally walk in the morning, longer play time at lunch, then a hike or the dog park around 4 pm. We love play time!

Availability
Being active is part of my daily routine and the best day is when I can spend it surrounded by dogs. My dog DeJa is well trained, loves to play, and is kind. When we started puppy kindergarten class, the trainers said - your dog is overly social - big compliment! DeJa adapts her fun play to smaller/bigger dogs (she is 40 lbs) and is always happy, friendly, and never mean to any dog or human. My pup DeJa is an overall great dog and loves having buddies over to play. We’re often hiking in Sonoma county, visiting local dogs parks, and our favorite beach is Dillon! If you’re looking for something with less activity for your pup, chilling in the backyard (pictures included) with a favorite toy is also great!
