Pet care experience
I love animals and think pet sitting would be a great way to have more animals in my life. I provide a safe, loving home for your dog and peace of mind for you while you are away. Secured fenced-in backyard, nearby park for walks, and tons of petting and cuddles to make your dog feel like home. Your dog will get to hang out inside with plenty of supervised outside time for fresh air. Do you have a senior or special needs dog? I have experience caring for both and will make sure your dog gets the best attention. I am able to easily administer meds and have plenty of puppy pads for dogs that have incontinence issues. Having had a senior dog that could not walk towards the end, I understand making accommodations to help them get around. Smaller breeds are easily carried and I have a garage entrance for larger dogs to get in and out without too much difficulty.

I highly recommend Sherri. My pup Warren looked so happy in his pictures. She gave warren a lot of attention, took him on walks and made sure he was well cared for while I was gone.
Having Sherri watch Ollie was a blessing! Her and her family gave him lots of love and attention, which was important to us. We got pictures and updates daily, making it easier to leave our pup behind for a few days. We will definitely be taking our dogs back to Sherri in the future!

Sherri was so great! She make me feel really comfortable about leaving my pupper with her. She contacted me everyday with updates on their daily adventures accompanied with pictures. When she was unsure of something, she made sure to ask me. I feel like Teddy had a great time with her and her family and they made sure he felt welcomed in the house as well. Great experience! I have no preference when it comes to dogs. I love all sizes and breeds. I prefer a meet and greet before taking care of your pet so that I can answer any questions or concerns that you may have. It also gives your dog a chance to become familiar with the premises and reduce their anxiety. I do have a senior dog who is fine with other dogs. She's not territorial and there is never an issue with food hoarding. She also has no teeth and prefers to just sleep. If your dog is not a fan, Pepper will be happy to hang out in another room (she likes the bedroom anyway). We do have 2 cats, but they prefer to hang out upstairs in the bedrooms. So, if your dog is not a fan of kitties, they never have to meet (or even know about each other).
A typical day
Aside from a good-sized backyard for frequent potty breaks (with a firmly latched door), your dog will get plenty of walks around our quiet neighborhood and the chance to run at a nearby park. There is a school within a short walking distance with a soccer/football field where they can stroll around, and I'm always up for a good game of catch if your dog loves to play. If they aren't fans of exercise (or can't really walk), they will have a warm lap in a chair in the backyard so that they still get some fresh air without the exertion.
