Pet care experience
With over 12 years of animal care experience, including starting as a kennel technician to a supervisor position at my local animal shelter housing approximately 300 dogs, I am more than capable of tending to 6-10 dogs at once however stays NEVER exceeds 3 fur babies to insure the safety and welfare of myself and the fur babies in my care. Other notable experience includes walking dogs, volunteer work, fostering for rescues, rehabilitating emaciated and neglected animals, pet training including commands or crate/house training puppies. I enjoy getting to know every new personality while providing a safe and fun experience whether you're away on vacation or alleviating pressure from your busy schedule. Despite living in an apartment, there is a huge pet friendly park 5 minutes walking distance away. I also own a home with a yard no more than 8 minutes south of the aquarium specifically for the high energy pups in my care ! I love to frequent either when the weather permits. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me, I hope to hear from you soon ! I had an adorable mini poodle mix that was laid to rest early 2019. By January 2022 I fell in love with my current rescue pup Dior, a 15Ib Yorkiepoo. Since July of 2022 I have been fostering a young pup named Pablo hoping he meets his furever home. They are both easy going pups, not cat, dog, or kid aggressive.

I have never cut short a stay on Rover until now. I did not want to leave my dogs here even for the shortened stay. I filtered for someone with a yard and no dogs. Apparently she set her profile to a different house than the drop-off location and said that keeping the dogs there was a “special request.” I had agreed on a drop-off time the night before and arrived 30 minutes early and was unable to reach her due to her phone being off. I have a puppy which is why I didn’t want any other dogs present because she was immediately terrified of the other dogs. The apartment smelled terrible and I had to give them a bath as soon as they got home. The pictures I received were poor quality and never showed the dogs outside.
I am missing a few of their items such as toys and an extra leash. I’m a little concerned I picked my dogs up and he immediately peed on the sidewalk for an extremely long time. Like almost a minute which makes me think he’s been holding it longer than usual. Other than that she was very sweet. And answered messages in a descent amount of time.
She did a great job! My pup was in good hands
Unfortunately, my dog was not fed for three days. The caregiver returned his food bag completely full. There were also stange men him that I didn’t approve of.

My priority is safety at all times. Leashing occurs far from any exits, leads are worn during ANY outside time, I try to avoid walks at night or in areas that may scare or startle the fur baby. I have an XXL crate covered with a black fitted sheet. Its use is a safety area for any overwhelming or anxious times during the stay. You're in good hands. **I always recommend a Pet GPS tracker for all fur babies which can be hung on their leash. This insures immediate rescue efforts can be started in case the least fortunate happens.

I'd like to know any habits or things your fur baby likes to make their stay as comfortable as possible, this is most important to me. Tell me about their special toys, frequently used phrases, places to go, irresistible treats,designated sleeping areas, and their dislikes/triggers to guarantee a successful stay ! I do work from home so there will be someone in your fur baby's presence however the attention level towards them to be a emotionally satisfied must be clarified. What level of attention is needed to mitigate howling, crying, screaming, if not being pet excessively but free to roam ?
A typical day
Walks, playing catch, tug of war, hide and seek, and going to the park are activities for a typical day. If your fur baby is friendly with kids, with your permission, closely supervised play can occur . If I have to be away for any reason the radio will be on or pet friendly videos on YouTube until my return.

Availability
Our day starts with a 7am walk, feeding, cleaning of living quarters, then play time until around 9am. This quickly became naptime because most of my fur babies burn out their energy by this time. Additional potty breaks, owner check ins, extra feeding, and medication administration will occur by or around 1PM. The final feeding and walk occurs between 5-8pm. Playtime may be added as needed however bedtime is strictly kept close to 9PM. **This schedule may be altered within the limits of available accommodations for situations such as young puppies, animals in heat, and pets with noncontageos medical conditions.
