Full time pet sitter 🥰

Pet care experience

📍 ReeseTheSitter I can help between 9:00AM through 8:00PM. If I could, I’d own a million cats and dogs; but since that’s not realistic, the next best thing is to help you take care of your pets while you take care of life! • DROP IN visits include: Letting dog in backyard to use bathroom, cat litter cleanup, indoor animal mess clean up, medicine distribution, feeding, playing, love and affection, pictures, treats, water replacement, etc. (Choose this if exercise outside and long walks are NOT important) • DOG WALK visits include: Long Dog walk around block/neighborhood/park visit, playing, love and affection, pictures, treats, and water replacement. (Choose this if exercise & outside time IS important!) • House Sitting: This includes feeding, walks through the day, water, meds, playing, etc. & overnight care. Bookings are up to 30 min. (Unless more is requested) If pet consistently hides during bulk of visit, visit may be cut short after all essential work is complete. ***Please place your requests with the proper amount of pets! If you have multiple cats or dogs that need ANY type of attention, feeding or cleaning - they need to be listed on their own profiles, added to the booking and paid for. If you’re having trouble figuring out how to add each pet’s profile, please call Rover Customer Service and they will help you step-by-step!

Shereese is not as attentive to your pets as the other reviews indicate and I found her to be dishonest. Here was my experience with her: I reached out to Shereese for a proposed booking for 13 consecutive days to check on my two cats once a day. She responded immediately and recommended a meet & greet. During our meet & greet, I saw her taking notes and she asked a lot of good questions as I went through showing her everything. I showed her the food bowls and explained I wanted them to be completely filled each day. Further, I told her I wanted the litter boxes cleaned every other day and she said she would be happy to do so. I felt confident that my cats were going to be in good hands and I gave her a copy of my house key so she could enter our home through the front door as that was the only way in. Before she left, she asked how would we like to get our house key back from her and she suggested that she could leave it under the doormat. I was uncomfortable with that idea and I told her I'd follow up with her once I thought of something that would be safer. Additionally, during the meet & greet, Shereese requested that the booking be split up into two separate bookings, one right after the other. I thought it was an odd request, but I had never used Rover before and her reasoning seemed justified. My husband and I left for our trip and received her check-in notes. Each day she made notes about how my cats would eat, drink and she cleaned the litter boxes for us. However, we know this to not be true. It was the last day of the FIRST booking (she still had 6 days left, which was in a separate booking per HER request) and during her check-in, she said she hopes we had a good trip and thanks for choosing her. Additionally, she said she left the key on the counter and only locked the door handle on her way out. This was not discussed with us previously and I had not told her how I wanted to handle getting our house key back as it was only halfway through our total scheduled bookings. I immediately responded to her and reminded her that she had another booking with us. She responded and asked if we had a keypad for our garage, which we don't, and then she made a comment that she'd go back to our house to check if she left the back door unlocked. At this point, I was extremely frustrated with her carelessness that I told her that her services were no longer required and canceled the second booking. My sister-in-law offered to check on the house for us and we took her offer as Shereese had no way of getting back into my home since she purposefully locked herself out. My sister-in-law called us when she got to our home the next day and found that the food bowls were completely empty and the house smelled. She sent us pictures of the litter boxes and the amount she cleaned out of them; it was clear the litter boxes hadn't been cleaned since I cleaned them before leaving for our trip. At this point, it had been a week (7 days) since we left. In addition to the lack of cleaning the litter boxes, like we agreed upon and indicated during the meet & greet, we speculate that Shereese was not feeding our cats each day. Which was also discussed during the meet & greet. My sister-in-law made note that the bowls never emptied for the remainder of our trip, but were completely empty when she first initially checked on the house the following day after Shereese's last check-in. Given that she lied about cleaning the litter boxes, it would not surprise me if she lied about feeding them too. Based on our experience, we found Shereese to be dishonest and irresponsible with our cats. I recommend extreme caution to potential future clients.

I contract through rover full time and am available ALL major holidays for an increased rate (rover takes 20% of our earnings, not including the fees they charge you). In the event that I am unable to assist you, I will typically recommend you to my husband who is also a sitter for Rover, Kylel D.

Information Shereese R. would like to know about your pet

After you send your request, I will reach out and schedule us ONE free ~30 minute meet and greet at your house to meet you & the pet(s). Your booking request is not secure until we both click “book” (which will occur AFTER or DURING the meet and greet for new clients) and booking is paid for. You should provide the key/entry instructions during this visit as well as any details I need to know about your pet(s). If the key is NOT exchanged during the meet and greet, please leave the key in an agreed-upon place. Otherwise, a $15 pick up and $15 key drop off fee will be added to your rover booking for key pick up and drop off outside of your booking times. ‼️ Also, don’t forget to fill out each pet profile if your pet has very important specifications. I work with many animals regularly so it helps me keep track of each animal’s specific needs, restrictions and expectation. OR you can leave notes in your home, whichever is easier for you! This will guarantee any specialty requests! Lastly, for the safety of myself, I do not tolerate violent or aggressive dogs. If your dog/cat is known to show violent tendencies like attacking people, please have a backup sitter available. If there is a violent altercation during the booking, I may cancel future services due to the likelihood of future similar situations
