Hello and welcome! I live in a spacious apartment in Arlington Heights with my roommate that loves having canine visitors. I also have close access to Robbins Farm Park, and Spy Pond Park, for longer jaunts. I have over 6 years of dogwalking and boarding experience, as well as always owned a dog as a primary owner throughout my life. However please note I joined Rover in January 2024 to begin managing clients in a more consistent capacity. Banfield Pet Hospital and Arlington Animal Clinic are nearby in case of emergencies, so rest assured that your BFF is only steps away from medical care. I own a car and am minutes away from PetSmart in case of last minute purchases while you are away (dog food, treats, etc) I have a 12 year old Yorkshire Terrier, Buster, is well adjusted to sharing his space during dog boarding. I only accommodate solo stays so your dog will receive the same amount of cozy care I provide to mine. Please contact me when booking to arrange a required Meet and Greet with Buster or if you have questions. Note: the Meet and Greets typically take place as a dog walking near my home. For pet parents that would like to view the boarding space, please inquire during the Meet and Greet booking. I can't wait to be the home away from home for your furry pal!

Shereen was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely professional and very gracious with me, and was super flexible and accommodating in meeting all of my needs. Shereen was kind enough to do a meet and greet prior to the stay, and sent regular updates and multiple pictures of my dog's stay with her. She took exceptionally good care of my dog, treating my fur baby like her own. I 1000% recommend using her, and absolutely will reach out to her again with future needs. I feel very fortunate and grateful for having found her.
Shereen was kind and meant well but I would encourage her to be forthcoming about her lack of experience in boarding dogs professionally (my dog was her first although her profile says 6 years), and also be forthcoming about how her anxious dog reacts to another dog in the home. It will be helpful to the families who are leaving their pet with her, to the dog itself, and to her dog to do the meet and greet at her home and to let the dogs get to know each other naturally rather than trying to control how they interact. Her dog Buster was clearly not used to having other dogs around (even at the dog park, she did not want to go in because she said her dog is afraid of medium sized dogs.) When I picked my dog up, he was literally shaking. I gave this advice to her because I think she has the potential to grow with experience.

In my care, your dog will get to explore several different dog walking routes that surround Arlington Heights. I like to make sure the dogs are mentally stimulated about every hour through either through a walk, playing tag, guessing where I hid a treat, etc.

Availability
I'm currently working from home so I have a flexible schedule for dog care! For boarding I am available between 7am and 7pm, Monday through Saturday. Sunday boarding is subject to availability.
