Pet care experience
I've had pets since I can remember. From growing up on a farm in West Virginia with cows, chickens, cats and dogs to now living with a German Shepherd and Chocolate Lab in an apartment in Sausalito; i've seen it all. Im confident in administering most drugs (not injections) and dealing with large dogs who are a bit unruly. Most importantly I love and respect all animals and treat them the way that I would treat my own.

Shepherd was lovely! He is very prompt, and communicative. We have a crazy schedule so it was nice to be able to communicate so clearly and arrange for walks. He has been walking our 3 dogs and they absolutely love him. He has also watched the pups for a couple of weeks when we were on vacation; he sent daily pics and videos, and the dogs were healthy, happy, and even bathed (!) when we picked them up. He has two dogs who were their playmates, they loved it. highly recommend!

At home my girlfriend and I have a 3 year old, male, fixed, German Shepherd and a 2 year old, male, fixed, Chocolate Lab. They rule the roost and we let them on the furniture and on the bed. They like to howl at fire trucks and police cars and play inside with games like "find it" and tug of war. We have a modestly large, non fenced in area for them to do their business and a lovely little park a block over to run and play in. The neighborhood is very walkable and hilly and also not too far from Schoonmaker Beach. We always have fresh water and plenty of toys for the boys to play with, and treats to reward good behavior.

What to know about me is that I love animals and am willing to take on 'challenging" dogs and cats. Not all animals, or people, are perfect and thats ok! I would love honesty and transparency about your animals' health and behavior. There is no shame in a dog that is leash reactive, or chases squirrels; but it is important to know before our first walk!
A typical day
We love walks around Sausalito especially to the near by park and Schoonmaker Beach. Sometimes I even take the dogs with my on my runs!

Availability
I work from home part time and have a somewhat flexible schedule during the week and weekends. Most of my availability will be on the weekends and evenings during the week.
