Pet care experience
I have taken care of both cats and dogs since I was 6 years old. As early as 12 I’ve been caring for animals. I’ve been task with feeding and bathing pets as young as 4-6 weeks so I’m very skilled at nursing younger animals as well as bottle feeding them. I enjoy taking pets on walks as it helps with socialization and helps them get the exercise they need. The pets I’ve taken care of were not only mine but pets of my family and neighbors. I have always loved pet care and would love to help you care for yours!

I have known shemike for all of my life and have seen her grown into a sweet and gentle young woman. I remember this time we were playing in this old, abandoned yard and we stumbled upon kittens that seemed as if they were left to die. They were crying and shivering,It was shemike’s first instinct to get them blankets and food and she was about 8 or 9 at the time and she would check on them every few days until she eventually begged our mom to carry them to the shelter and of course she kept one which she was very gentle, loving and caring towards as if it was her human child it was just so peaceful to watch and that’s how I knew her love for animals was true and that’s something she would displays whenever she’s able to. It’s one thing I admire about her.
I highly recommend Shemike's pet sitting and dog walking service. My 3 cats received all the care and attention they needed. Very safe and reliable.

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks to park and around the community so they get the chance to socialize, discover new smells and have fun. Exercising is super important and so is having fun. So I enjoy playing games with them such as tug-of-war and fetch.
