Hello to all the dog mamas and papas out there! I'm Shelyce (pronounced Sha-leece). Originally from Colorado, my military husband and I moved out here in October of 2020 along with our 11yr old dog. He goes just about everywhere with us and is always down to go for a ride in the car, play fetch (when he decides to give the ball back), go for a hike or just hang on the couch and watch animal planet. I have never met a dog that he does not get along with and loves sharing his toys so as long as your dog is friendly with others we should be just fine. I grew up always having a family dog and it was mine and my brothers 'job' to help feed, walk, train and take care of them. I am very responsible, fun, caring, compassionate and would love to take care of your fur-babies to help you out. When a pet comes in, I am all about making sure they are comfortable and cared for. With me being at home full-time, I have plenty of time to spend walking, hiking, playing, brushing and loving your dog. We have dog beds in every room of the house and if your dog is used to being on a couch or human bed, that is just fine with us - after all, we treat them as if they are a member of our family. I adapt to their needs and personalities, whatever that may require of me. I prefer to board one dog at a time (or pets from the same family) so your loved one will have individual specialized attention from me. For the protection of other dogs and my own, I do request dogs are updated on vaccinations.
