Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Shelly & I’ve been taking care of dogs up to 50 lbs for over 12 years. Friends and family have trusted me to walk, board, and sit their beloved pets. In my free time, I enjoy taking walks, exploring new parks, going on hikes, and spending time at the beach. I love to take care of & meet new pups, and I can’t wait for the opportunity to care for you beloved pets!

Shelly was incredibly kind, patient and attentive with my sensitive doodle, Ollie. She was willing to administer meds and take care of some unexpected medical needs of his that had come up right before my trip, and did an amazing job reading his needs and helping him be comfortable while I was away. And she provided the best updates throughout my trip! Ollie looked so happy with her in all the pictures and videos I received. High recommend!

Second time using Shelly and she’s the best! Takes care of our pup as if he was her own.
Shelly took fantastic care of our dog Piper while we were in Japan. We received plenty of videos, photos and updates daily. Piper had fun adventures and even an Ocean Ave sunset walk with some new puppy friends. Shelly even helped coordinate the repairman coming for our dryer and was kind and flexible when we had to fly home for a medical family emergency. I would highly recommend Shelly.

I enjoy spending time outside in nature & taking walks. I have a spacious 2bd/2ba apartment, as well as a patio area, which pets love to sun bathe in. If allowed, I would love to hike or run with your pet. My roommate currently has a 5 lb Yorkie, who loves to spend time with other dogs as well. On my weekends, I enjoy exploring new areas/trails/parks & visiting the dog park.

Feel free to let me know if your pet has an social needs or habits I should be aware of, including allergies and/or health needs. I have experience with senior dogs as well. I am more than happy to accommodate.
A typical day
I love to take walks, go to the park, and go to the beach with the dogs I care for. If they are able and have high-energy I will ask for permission to hike or run with dogs. I would love to take your beloved pet to the beach & I enjoy exploring both dog parks and walking parks.

Availability
I work from home full time, so I can ensure I am meeting all of your pet’s needs. I can take your pets for potty breaks every hour, or more, as needed. You can trust that your fur baby will have tons of fun & get lots of attention while I am home. I am very flexible with scheduling and hope to accommodate you & your pet’s needs as best I can.
