Pet care experience
I have cared for cats, dogs, and fish inside and out. I have done housesitting for long stays and just over night. I love animals and get along well with them. I don’t mind special instructions and can usually accommodate most hours. My kids are all grown so my time is my own. I have 3 dogs of my own. I have a miniature Yorkie, (Emma) a Westie (Charlie) and a 1/2 St. Bernard 1/2 Stratford Terrior (Meaha). I have taught at Jeans for 15 years and am currently teaching PreK. Kids and animals have a lot in common. They love unconditionally, they love to play outside, and they love to cuddle. I enjoy both and I would enjoy the opportunity to help you care for your extended family. After all that is what our pets are.

SHELLY IS AWESOME! She is patient, kind and confident. I have a 150 pound Boerboel that is obnoxious and stubborn. He's a super sweet boy but when he gets excited he can knock you over or play bite way too rough. I was a little hesitant at first and interviewed a few folks on rover before deciding on Shelly. I am so happy I did. Shelly sent pictures and let us know he was doing good. I can also tell that Booty loves her and felt great too. When I arrived home a few days later, he was excited and showed no signs of the usual stress I see when I get back to him. I'll use Shelly and only Shelly from now on. THANK YOU AGAIN SHELLY!
You will not find a more caring animal lover than Shelly. She stayed a month in our home with our very high strung border collie mix, Sara. There was in instant bonding between Shelly and our Sara even at their first "meet and greet". Shelly spent lots of play time with Sara, drove her to groomers and sent us numerous photos throughout her long stay. Shelly treated our home with respect, took great care of my many house plants and even kept our bird feeders filled. We will be having Shelly stay with Sara again this summer and cannot recommend her enough. A lovely, kind-hearted person.
