Pet care experience
I have cared for horses, dogs, cats, reptiles, and amphibians my entire life. I have assisted vets and taken care of sick and aging animals at home, including giving medicine, shots, and IV fluids.

Shelly is amazing! She took excellent, loving care of our dog, followed our instructions thoroughly, stayed for an hour to give our pup lots of attention and playtime, and even washed out the dog dishes. She sent several pics each day, and her communication was always prompt and detailed. Thank you, Shelly!
Shelly is a very warm hearted person and it shows with her care for animals all my pets....I have a small zoo...we're well cared for and very relaxed when I came home. My Husky Nikita Adore's Shelly and my cat Yuki "who DOESN'T like non family people came right up to her and wanted attention with in a short time Shelly was in my home. Also Shelly keeps the home clean and welcoming for your return home. Shelly kept me up to date on feedings and pill time gave me plenty of photos of my babies happy and relaxed Shelly followed my care print out perfectly. Definitely call Shelly every time I leave town because I know my fur babies will be well cared for and safe.

It is important to know an animals likes and dislikes, if they like other animals or not, any health issues or allergies they may have, feeding, potty, and exercise schedule or routine, and emergency contact information (vet).
A typical day
I do lots of different activities with any animal I am lucky enough to spend time with. I realize that each animal has their own personality, likes, and dislikes. We can go to the dog park, walk at a park or the beach, take a hike at the Mission, or just walk around the neighborhood. We can play catch or tug of war; these are my pups favorite activities.

I currently work as a bookkeeper in Santa Barbara but am available evenings and weekends to walk, play, and care for your fur babies when you are unable.
