****COVID 19 UPDATE - During the pandemic, we are conducting all meet/greets outside in our back yard, so that social distancing measures can be maintained. As a sole income earner and provider of my family, it is paramount for me to stay healthy; if you are concerned about your current health condition, or possess any of the current (check the Public Health website for up-to-date information) COVID 19 symptoms, or have traveled outside the country, DO NOT PUT my family and I at risk. If we need to move inside, we have a supply of masks and hand cleansing materials available, but you are most welcome to bring your own. This is our home, not a 'public place', so although we do clean, and attempt to keep our environment in order, it is still our home, and not 'germ-free'. As always, we are doing our best, but we are not 'immune' to any thing; we appreciate you doing your part:). Welcome to Dundas; the 'Valley City' nestled in the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve! Our home was originally built in the early 1880's, so it has lots of history and character just waiting to be uncovered:). Some call it 'dated' and others 'retro', but we call it 'home'! We will be breathing new life into our home as time and money allows. Our yard is fenced, so our guests will have time to run around and have fun. We have welcomed local guests, but also guests from the U.S. and New Zealand too; we are proud to be international! Come be a part of our 'famjam'. We have been caring for animals all our lives; looking after friends'/families' pets. I worked in a small, local veterinary clinic for a 10 years, primarily in administration, but did assist with emergencies and 'out-of-business hours' relief. We are a family offering a home environment to your fur-babies. Emily helps out with my pet care business, since the pandemic has moved her home, but also has her own 'in your home' pet care business. Joshua is attending post-secondary beginning September 2019. Shelly has a flexible work schedule and is the primary care provider of our 'guests'. We will go for a minimum of 2 daily walks, enjoy play and yard time and get plenty of attention. Sit in the sun! Our back door opens to a fully fenced yard. With some mature trees, it has a lovely balance of sun and shade. Stay in our dog-friendly neighbourhood. Dundas hosts great trails to walk on.
