Pet care experience
I love dogs! I’ve always owned at least one..I’ve shown them, trained them , groomed them , raised them, but most of all just love them. I enjoy all breeds, large and small, fluffy and hairless! My favorites are the lovers. The ones who just want someone to be with them and love them. ❤️ I will treat your dog as you want him or her treated (probably better?! I will follow all of your instructions and I will offer advice to you only if it is wanted. I might give your dog an extra high five each day though! I believe strongly in positive reinforcement rather than negative. I will catch your dog doing “good” things and reward immediately with positive words and maybe a treat. I believe dogs do better when they are exercised both physically and mentally, so I will provide walks, play times, learning tricks and lots of affection. At the end of the visit I will even clean up the poo!

Shellie is amazing! Lots of cute picture updates and she was so nice and caring to my cat and dog. My dog is a strong and reactive old girl and I’m always nervous that she’ll be too hard to handle but Shellie was so wonderful with her and made me feel so comfortable about her reactivity. I cannot recommend her enough!!
Shellie was really good with our 12 year old “pup,” during our vacation. She provided us with a comprehensive pre-survey to learn more about our girl before our trip and then sent us daily updates and pictures while we were away. It was good to know Honor was in good hands. We’ll definitely book Shellie again.
Shellie was great with my dog! He had a wonderful stay & I could relax on my vacation because she sent me texts and photos throughout his stay. She even had the cutest vacation report to send home with him! I will definitely reach out to Shellie again!

I love all breeds. I need to know if the dog is fearful of anything, is food aggressive or toy aggressive, does the dog like children? (What ages). Do they get along with other dogs and animals? How does the dog ack in a car?, while getting groomed, at the vet. Has the dog ever bitten anybody. Also need to know what immunization and rabies shots the dog has.
A typical day
I like to walk them in neighborhoods with sidewalks. I like to go to the dog parks where they can run with others. I like to play in the back yard. Many of my dogs like swimming in a kiddy pool and playing ball.
