Pet care experience
I was raised on a ranch with all kinds of animals to help care for and as a result I learned the responsibilities involved in having animals at an early age. As an adult I have limited my personal pets to cats so that I could travel. I presently have no pets of my own and I miss that interaction. As a pet sitter I would like to help others have both loving pets and freedom.

I have known Shelley Felch for over 35 years. She grew up on the ranch where I now live with her brother and mother. There are times when we have to leave the ranch in someone's care and Shelley is always our preference. She watches over her mother's needs, takes care of three indoor cats and an outdoor dog, and feeds 24 horses twice a day over about a half-mile distance. She is attentive to any issues that may arise and genuinely cares about the well-being of all the animals. Additionally, she is incredibly fit, runs and hikes long distances and would be able to challenge the most energetic of dogs to an invigorating walk.
Shelley F. loves creatures of all kinds: land, air, and sea. Considerate and responsible, she will always be there for you and your pet. Her unlimited energy will keep your pet cuddled, loved, and walked if desired. Shelley will be sensitive to you and your pet's needs.

My home is not suitable for Pets so I would only be able to work at the pets home, and I would not be introducing other pets.
Information Shelley F. would like to know about your pet
Does the dog obey verbal and leash commands and do they play well with other dogs? What kind of treats might they get or what don't they eat. Of course any special needs or characteristics to be aware of from the beginning. How much exercise is ideal?
A typical day
I will take the advice of each owner as to what is best for your pet. I would take your dog walking in your neighborhood or other locations you advise. I have plenty of energy for play and exercise, although I have not offered to care for giant dogs as I am a petite person:) I have special love of caring for cats and I also have experience with horses. I am not able to have my own pets because I live in a condo so I do not have special places in mind for walks at this time, but certainly open to suggestions.

Availability
Because I have a work schedule to coordinate with pet care my best scenario is probably to watch over cats while their owners are away. Cats normally have a more flexible schedule and in my past I was always challenged to find a suitable caretaker for my own cats while I travelled and it was very difficult, so I want to ease that burden for other cat owners.
