It’s hard to take things literally, but I think I can confidently say dogs really are my best friends! I enjoy being around people sure, but nothing beats the joy, loyalty, and unconditional love bestowed by our furry companions. Growing up there were always dogs and cats in my family, so I’ve learned firsthand how to nurture and be responsible for other living creatures. I have tons of experience caring for small and large dogs of all breeds, as well as cats, lizards, turtles, snakes, frogs, and rats. My only Kryptonite are spiders and scorpions, but otherwise, the more animals surrounding me, the better! I currently have two wonderful, playful dogs and four cats––so yes, it’s kind of a zoo in my household––and it’s just the way I want it! More the merrier is always my motto in life. All but one of my fur babies are rescues, so I totally support rescues and shelters. Nothing would make me happier than to add more furry friends into the mix. I know this sounds potentially crowded and chaotic, but I am fiercely loyal, kind, and trustworthy. The well-being of my fur babies is my number one priority and your beloved pup will instantly become a member of my family. I used to be a CNA, and so I am professionally trained to care for others. But beyond professional credentials, I’ve always been something of an empath, and so I truly treat others like I’d like to be treated. Love, respect, and responsibility are tenets I swear by. For me the greatest reward is when I can say I really know a dog. Just like people, each pup has his or her unique personality, temperament, and triggers. Like any other relationship, I really value the time it takes to discover each pup’s spirit, and nothing beats that connection when you look into their eyes and they look into yours, and in that precious moment, you feel what true love and connection feels like. Every living creature embodies a unique spirit and energy, and I would relish the opportunity to not only meet but really get to know your best friend.
