I am Shelby W. and I am 26 years old. I have been pet sitting for seven years and over four years professionally. I absolutely love my job! Nothing is better than playing and loving on animals all day. I am constantly learning from my clients, whether it's patience, administrating new medications or training skills. My knowledge of pets continues to grow daily and I love it! I graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 2010 and took a few college classes before starting my business. I enjoy hikes and going to the beach. Slight obsession with Pinterest, I love arts and crafts and I'm trying to learn to become a better cook. I enjoy a wide variety of music and movies/TV shows. I have basic grooming experience and I'm learning some dog training. I also am involved with Almost Home Dog Rescue, which is a small rescue that my mom started to help California shelter dogs find their forever homes up here in Washington. It's a wonderful experience being involved when saving a dog's life and so rewarding. It's an honor to be apart of each of their journeys whether it's picking  them up from transport, grooming, feeding/medications or fostering.  Shelby's Pet Sitting provides visits to your home and/or walks while you are away. These visits are great for long work days, day trips and vacations. I can do short visits to longer visits depending on the schedule. I also can do over nights for short weekend trips. I also water plants, pick up mail, take the trash out and more. Dogs, cats, fish, turtles, chickens, horses, goats, I've watched them all! I feel comfortable with any medications if needed.
