Pet care experience
I'm a mom and a life long animal lover and worked as a vet assistant for several years. I also have a ton of experience pet-sitting for friends and family. I am loving, reliable and trustworthy, and will give your dog more TLC than anyone else can provide. I recently moved back to Mechanicsville from CO and looking to rebuild my client base. I have loved all my experiences with Rover and all the fur babies had the opportunity to love and care for in the past. My schedule is flexible so I am able to arrange my drop-in visits and walks around each dog's needs. I also love cats, ferrets, rabbits, pigs and am willing to care for them as well. You can be away from home and not have to worry that your babies are in need.

Shelby was an awesome cat sitter. She sent pictures all through the week on how they were playing and acting while we were gone. She responded quickly to any text messages I sent her. I will definitely ask her to sit with my pets again. ?
Shelby was absolutely AMAZING! We have two pups who demand a lot of attention and she was amazing with them. We came home to two happy puppy’s and they seemed so calm! She also was incredibly respectful of our home and kept us updated throughout the weekend!
This is the 3rd time Shelby has taken care of Soldier. She has stayed at our home with him (he is a yellow lab with some anxiety) every time, and she has taken great care of him every time! When we come home he is happy and healthy, and our house looks exactly as we left it. She took out the trash and watered the plants while we were gone, also. I highly recommend Shelby!
My family, a needy terrier and 2 cats, seem to have found an alternate “mother”. Shelby’s care seems to have been right in line with mine. Yes they were happy to see me, but she did such a great job that they were anything but desperate. I talked to her when I returned about problems and she said there were very few. Hurray. I only have had the terrier for 2 months and he remains somewhat unpredictable while wanting to be within a foot of me. She coped magnificently. I would be very happy to have her take care of my pets again —- and will use her whenever I travel.
