Pet care experience
I trained guide dogs for South Eastern Guide Dogs until college and was a dog owner up until recently and we miss the presence of animals in our lives. My family has owned wolf mixes, american staffies, giant breeds, and herding dogs to name a few. Having a dog, no matter what size or breed, should never stop you from going on adventures, working, or anything else. We personally do not believe in aggressive breeds, but we do have two young children who are great with animals and need to know if your pet has been socialized with children so we can accommodate any extra boundaries.

Absolutely amazing!! Shelby watched our dog Panda while we were gone for the weekend. We were a little nervous as this was Pandas first time away from us. Drop off went great, they were very patient and professional as Panda sniffed around and got used to the new house. They provided frequent updates with pictures and comments about how Panda was doing. Panda got tons of walks and attention. Pickup went just as smooth. Panda was happy to see us and we could tell she had been very well taken care of. We don’t plan on using anyone else in the future. We highly recommend Shelby!!

We have a large unfenced yard and love spending time playing outside in addition to going on regular walks. Most of our house in on one level with minimal stairs, so dogs with mobility issues will have no problems but we do have a large basement for those without who like extra indoor space to play. We can supply ample snuggles and exercise in addition to any special needs like medicated baths or medicine administrations with no problem.

A typical day
Walking is a speciality of mine after training guide dogs- no dog is too big or too small! Fetch, frisbees, and any other games your dogs may love to partake in are welcome at our house. If your dog is low energy, we are expert dog cuddlers!

We have a lot of flexibility when it comes to caring for a pet whether at our home or yours. My hours vary so we can care for your pet outside of “normal business hours”.
