Pet care experience
I have experience taking care of family and friends dogs as well as my own. I know how to deal with emergency situations and I can act fast on any problems that can occur. I have 2 smaller dogs who are both under 10 lbs therefore I'm more comfortable taking care of smaller animals when it's at my house and I'm alright with any size at the owners house. I feel the need to make a relationship with the dog so I'm trusted before I watch the actual dog. If you're interested in my services, I require 2 meet and greets before the actual date I watch your pet. I do this not only for the pets benefit but for my own safety. These visits will take anywhere from 15-30 minutes. Long enough for the dog to get comfortable around me.

Must admit I was nervous having someone watch my Dalmatian that he didn't know. Shelby came over twice before the actually stay and my boy seemed to take to her. I can't say enough of good things about Shelby as she made my vacation more enjoyable not having to worry. It was nice having her stay in touch with me and sending pics or videos each day. Very happy with her service and looking forward to my next worry free vacation and most important someone I can trust in my home and taking care of my precious boy. Thank you Shelby
Shelby has watched our 70 pound goldendoodle for years when she lived in West Virginia. I was so upset to see her move because her services are hard to come by. We give our dog vanilla ice cream everyday at 5:00 and she complied to that and took such good care of our baby! On top of filling all of our requests, she sent us pictures and videos of our baby having a blast doing various activities like walking and playing. It really helped us when it came to missing her! One night she even had to take our baby to the emergency vet and we were out of town for the rest of that week.. She called to let us know and then she DIDN'T charge us at ALL for watching our dog. She knew we could hardly even afford the vet bill at that point so I am so very grateful for her and all that she does. If it weren't for her my dog would have probably died that night. I've never been more thankful than to have her rather than have my baby at a kennel.

If I feel that your dog isn't comfortable with my presence I will politely decline on watching him/her and refer you to someone who can handle them better and make it safer for the both of us.

I can take your dogs to the beach as well as to dog parks if there is written permission before hand. I'm open to taking them to any of their favorite places, also.
