We boarded our GSP who absolutely LOVED being on the farm with Shelby. She treated our pup just like one of her own and trained him during his stay. She sent videos, photos and the communication could not have been better and she is an animal whisperer! Are pup is definitely coming back to the farm. Thank you for your work Ms. Shelby! My dogs had such a great experience at Shelby's, I wish I could have stayed there with them. If the Four Seasons Resorts had a dog care facility, this would be it. A friend of mine recommended Shelby and Rover when I needed someone to look after my dogs while I was having some work done at my house. Shelby's ranch is fantastic. The dogs were able to roam during the day. They got walked, they got to chase squirrels and wild turkeys, they got to hang out with Shelby and her husband inside the house to rest. They got to say hi to goats and a horse (across a fence). They got treats. They came home happy, exhausted and ready to go back. Not only is the environment fantastic for dogs, Shelby's understanding of canine behavior, health and nutrition is a huge plus. In the short time she was taking care of Zzyzy and Toot, she was able to give me insights into their behaviors. I learned from the dog's experiences as well. A great thing all 'round. It was such a positive experience for the dogs, they're definitely going back the next time I need dog care. I can't recommend Shelby enough. I can't wait for my dogs to go back!
