Hi! I’m Shelby and I’ve had pets for a majority of my life and currently have three cats. I have cared for them and other animals for years and have cared for family members’ cats and dogs as well. I briefly volunteered at the Humane Society for Hamilton County a couple years ago which included cleaning and upkeep of the shelter and cages. Right now i’m volunteering at a veterinary clinic to gain valuable experience as I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian since I was a kid. I will be majoring in biology and on pre-vet track as a freshman at Purdue in the fall. In the hopes to give your pet the best care, it’s worth noting that I’m better with smaller animals as some of the bigger ones can weigh more than I do! Although I can’t care for larger animals (50 lbs+) I’d be more than happy to care for any other animal! I make sure to follow any instructions given and provide your pet(s) with a stress-free and comfortable experience while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
