I am a loving and responsible pet care specialist with 6 years of experience in both NYC and New Orleans. In all those years, I've cared for pups of all breeds and sizes and critters of all kinds, including cats, snakes, birds, and even goats! There's nothing I haven't seen before and no animal I wouldn't snuggle and shower with love! I have particular experience with leash aggressive dogs and am familiar with clicker training. Shelby never contacted me for a set up meet & greet and did not return my messages when I reached out to her. Therefore she never made the visit that I scheduled and paid for. There are door codes that I needed to give her and show her where food & care items were located and what I needed her to do to take care of my animals. I would like a refund for this visit and I am giving one star even thought it's zero stars because I don't think it will register if I don't put at least 1. Would not recommend booking with Shelby.
Shelby is the only walker I trust with my pup. My dog is very needy and I feel bad that I have to work so much. I always have less anxiety on days that I've scheduled walks because i know that my pup isn't only walked, but given the attention she needs to be happy. Making sure my pup is happy is one of my main priorities and it seems to be Shelby's, too based on how my sweet babe acts when I get home on walk days. 12/10!
Shelby is one of the best I’ve ever seen with my dogs and others. Mine love her like no one else and she’s pretty knowledgeable about dog handling and dog first aid. I recommend her without reservation.
Shelby is amazing and Christophe Glapion, my Jack Russell rescue, lights up every time they come over to visit or for walks, pets, and playtime. Shelby is the best!!!

I do not believe any breed is inherently aggressive, and I love all breeds! The major things I would absolutely need to know before caring for your dog would be how are they around: Other dogs Other animals Children Also whether they are leash reactive. Any other quirks that are special and unique to your pup can be discussed during a meet-and-greet. I want to get to know your dog as an individual.
A typical day
I enjoy being active and engaged with your dog, so expect lots of running and playing in the park if your dog is an active breed. That being said, I have loved and cared for many less active breeds and senior dogs and appreciate quiet chill time as well. Each animal is different, and I look forward to getting to know your fur baby's likes and needs.

My biggest availability is mornings and afternoons 7 days a week, but am usually available most evenings unless I am working my other job as a sparkly nightlife performer!
