Pet care experience
I am a veterinary assistant and have worked in the field for over 5 years and I have lived with dogs all my life. I have one of my own now, she is a 4 year old Rottweiler lab mix and she is the best thing thats ever happened to me. I work at the animal hospital 3 days a week and I am a student the rest of the week, my schedule has breaks in between so I thought why not make some money with the things I love... dogs! I will make sure your dog gets it's full amount of exercise and more! I will go above and beyond for your pet!

You won't find anyone better to take care of your dog than Shelby. She's lovely, patient and she was very flexible with our requests. My puppy had a great time with her and came back home happy and exhausted :) I would recommend Shelby to anyone. She's the best!
Shelby was a great dog sitter for Athena! She was very kind, welcoming, and provided updates throughout her stay. Her home is very appropriate for dogs of all sizes, and she has a large backyard for them to run around in. Would definitely recommend for others, and will be using her again in the future.

The only thing I would like to know is the friendliness of the dog with other animals. Just so that on walks I feel comfortable with it approaching other dogs or if I need to keep it away from other dogs. There is no breed preference!
A typical day
I will go on walk around the neighbourhood and down to the park. I would love to bring it to dog parks or to beachs! We would go in the backyard and play fetch!

I work at an animal hospital three days a week and am in school three days a week. Due to this schedule I have gaps in between that I can help walk or stop in with your pet!
