I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, hamsters, and fish! I absolutely love animals and if I could I would own them all! I have volunteered at Austin Pets Alive before and helped many dogs and cats! I have had two dogs of my own for ten years and they are maltipoos! I will love your pets as you do! I can take care of feeding, walking, giving water, medication, and making them feel loved while you’re away. I’m very good at following instructions to ensure the wellbeing of your pet.

Shelby is an absolute joy to work with! She is so responsible and kind to our pets they were actually sad when she left. We have had her watch both our cat and dog on several trips we have taken and never had to worry once whether something would go wrong. I would highly recommend Shelby for hire…She will make your fur babies feel so loved and put your mind at ease while you are gone!
I am a mom of three rambunctious children... or should I say dog mom LOL! My job involves a bit of travel so I require a competent and responsible sitter for my babies. Shelby not only showed up on time and ready to go, but she interacted with my pets in such a way that made me feel confident to leave them in her care. A typical day
Using my love and knowledge of various animals I would interact with each pet in a caring and invigorating way. Understanding each pet is different will allow me to adapt to each pets unique need. For dogs I would love to take them to a local park, on a walk, play in the backyard, or if they are a couch potato we can just hang out. For cats, any fun toys, cuddling, or lots of petting!

Availability
I attend Butler University in Indiana, but I’m staying home until January 15th for Christmas break! I have tons of free time and can visit as many times as needed. I was born and raised in the Austin Area so I know everywhere very well! I’m trying to save money to pay off college! (If you need babysitting you can find me on Bambino as well!)
