New to Rover! I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young child, my passion for animals encouraged me to pursue a career working with animals. In recent years I have worked animal husbandry caring for domestic pets, exotic big cats, wolves, snakes, birds and more. I am comfortable working with all sizes of dogs and as well as other species.

Shelby has provided reliable care for our four cats and dog for years. She house sits often and always leaves our pets happy and our home clean. She always updates us how our animals are doing while we’re away and listens to our directions carefully. We have peace of mind leaving town knowing our pets are in her care.
Shelby has taken care of my dogs Frodo and Sam on multiple occasions; sometimes for a week at a time. She is attentive to my dogs needs and sends me update including pics and videos daily! She is a fur parent herself so she knows how to easy mine and my dog's separation anxiety. She is our most trusted pet sitter!

I have a fenced yard as well as a easy going 30lb corgi mutt named Teddy. My dog is very easy to get along with other dogs, as I have fostered and watched other animals numerous times in the years of me having him. My roomate also works from home and is available to give extra love to the animals in our home.

A typical day
We love to go on walks at Nathaniel Greene, Phelps Grove, and Doling Park. Fetch with tennis balls and swimming in creeks (if your pup likes water). If your pup also likes to take it easy we can play in the back yard or stay snuggled up on the couch enjoying movies.

Availability
I am currently only working part time so have plenty of availability for walking and watching your pups! My availability is very flexible with my current work and I work from home a lot. Boarding or house sitting on weekends is available only if I am in town
