Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of family, friends, and neighbors pets since I was a teenager. I’ve always had my own animals growing up and in my adult life! I love all animals and would be so happy to take care of your little fur baby like they’re my own! I can adapt to any routine that you need, just let me know of any special needs your baby needs and I’ll happily oblige! The goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible and give you the peace of mind that your pet is getting the time and attention they deserve. I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs!

Shelby has watched my cat on many occasions and has been so wonderful with him. He is a little skittish and hides under the couch if someone comes over that he's unfamiliar with. He took to Shelby instantly and felt very comfortable around her. She's one of the very few people I've ever felt completely at ease watching him when I am out of town. 100% recommend!
Very friendly and great interaction with my pup
Shelby watched my two elderly dogs while I was out of town. She stayed at my house and took care of everything! It was such a comfort knowing my dogs were being well taken care of and knowing my dogs have the comfort of someone being there while still being in their own environment. Both my dogs took to her right away, even though one of them is not a people dog and prefers to be left alone, she was comfortable with Shelby and her taking her out to go potty as she can't go by herself. I also was very comfortable having her in my home, I knew my belongings were safe and that the trust I had in her staying in my home wouldn't be breeched. My house was left exactly the way I left it. I would use her again in a heartbeat, and plan to in the future! Can't recommend her enough.
Shelby has gone above and beyond for our pets. She was able to effectively navigate unforeseen special medical issues that unfortunately came up while our pets were in her care (outside of her control). I could not recommend her more!

A typical day
I can walk them wherever you’d like if your neighborhood is not ideal. I can take them on hikes or to the park! I love playing games with them such as fetch and help them get their energy out. I’m a big walker so I’m happy to go on longer walks as well if you’d prefer! For kitties, I let them lead. If they want to play, I’m happy to dangle their toys and run around for them to chase to get their zoomies out! If they just want a lap to snuggle on, I’m there for that too! I’m also happy to leave them be if they’re feeling antisocial, every cat is different and I’m happy to follow their lead.

I’m currently working part-time and many days are remote, so I’ll have plenty of time to help out you and your pet and work around your schedule!
