Pet care experience
It would be a pleasure for me to sit your loved animals! I am also putting feelers that myself and my partner could possibly be available to sit for you depending on the day and the nature of the sitting e.g days (depending on work schedule) and nights etc. We both come from households with pets, Chloe my partner comes from a household with dogs- one being a rescue named Taz. He is a very high spirit, very active and he took lots of time and dedication, special attention to train. And myself, I grew up in a very mixed pets household: dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, birds! And smaller animals like rats, gerbils etc! We like to take pride in the fact we’re loving and caring people, very active and accommodating and willing to help out the owners of their pets when they’re unable to take the time they would love to with their own loved animals!

Shelby was great with our 5 month old puppy. He has separation anxiety issues we are working on currently so it was imperative he wasn’t left and Shelby stayed with him for the day whilst we attended a funeral. She asked lots of good questions and genuinely seemed to care about his routine. She even got cuddles on the sofa with Benny so he clearly trusted her.
Shelby was so great with looking after our dog and cat during the house sit we booked with her! She is super attentive to your fur babies, and sent us plenty of photos and updates whilst we were away. We came back with one tired and calm cocker spaniel.. which is not easy to do 😂 I would definitely recommend booking with Shelby and you can be certain that your pets will be in good hands. We will definitely be booking with Shelby again! 💕
We have used Shelby quite a few times on the recommendation of a friend in the past 3 years. Shelby stayed at our house for a week to look after our cats so we didn’t have to put our anxious additional needs cat in a cattery as we were worried about him receiving individualised care for his feeding times due to a jaw misalignment he was born with. Shelby has also been amazing with supporting us by walking our 2 dogs on occasions where my partner and myself have both been working, taking the dogs on stimulating dog walks and even helping with the implementation of continuous leash training our 8 month old JRT. I would have no qualms in recommending Shelby as a pet sitter/walker and she would always be my first choice to help with my pet sitting needs

We haven’t looked after any animals needing any medicine however if we needed to give an animal some medicine we would need to have a checklist / instructions to do so, so the pet will get what they need, when they need it!

I haven’t had any experience with ill animals other than on the farm I was on in Australia during my three month regional work plan. However I am eager to learn and always want to do my best to help!
A typical day
I enjoy long walks around the lakes, through the woodland areas and in the fields. I love to get up early for a sunrise and enjoy the view of a sunset! I love to push myself to new lengths and have new experiences so I’m always looking out for different routes to take for walks, hikes and adventures

Availability
I have Wednesdays, Thursdays off work, with a half a day Saturday and three out of four Sundays of the month off! So I am very pleased to say I am available to help you with sitting, walking, checking in on, play dates and sleepovers with your loved pets. My partner also works Monday to Friday 8-4 so she is available most late afternoons- evenings and always has a weekend off! We’re both active, adventurous and willing to help where we can.
